Introduction to Alignment Based Yoga: Class 1

I'll be posting an outline of the topics/poses of each class in the Introduction to Alignment Based Yoga with Kim Drye, HereNowYoga at Birmingham Yoga each week.  It's a six week series, the first class was last Monday October 20th, 2014.

We began with an overview of yogic philosophy: What is yoga?  Then discussed the purpose of studying specifically alignment-based yoga.  The first of the yoga sutras of Pantanjali was mentioned-- "Now the practice/discipline of yoga begins".
