Get Grounded-- Standing + Balance Poses Workshop at Villager Yoga

Standing Poses are the building blocks of a yoga asana practice. They represent our ability to be grounded, to stand on our own feet. Through the practice of standing poses, the body becomes strong and articulate and the mind alert and focused, which is very helpful for a practice aimed at making the practitioner more conscious.
Join Kim Drye, HereNowYoga, for a practice of the alignment in basic standing poses and balance poses like tree pose and half moon. This session will include lots of demos and some partner assists to deepen your understanding. The last half hour will be a restorative inversion practice so everyone leaves feeling balanced and refreshed.
